I always start with smaller MVPs, and most of the time, there is some repetitive code that happens in all of them or certain things that demand my efforts and time to try and implement. Thus, here are some useful resources that I use in my SaaS project that save time in coding and help me to ship things faster.

But before we continue, I have compiled a step-by-step “SaaS Launch List Guide — 2025” guide that will provide you with all the necessary steps for getting ideas, validation, marketing, and listing on multiple directories to get more outreach. SaaS Launch List Guide - 2025 Launch Your SaaS Like a Pro: A Step-by-Step Guide for SuccessWith my experience of 6+ years, I have created a Notion… shivanshudev.gumroad.com

EnjoyTheAPI: A hub for all useful APIs for the SaaS Most of my backend I use APIs from EnjoyTheAPI, as there are benefits like,

  • They have credit-based pricing, so I only purchase credits of what I need to use; there is no subscription-based model.
  • There are a lot of useful APIs that will take me time if I develop, like sending OTP via WhatsApp, getting the profile information of LinkedIn, sending verification emails, or making phone calls.
  • I don’t have to Sign Up for multiple places for different services; all things I get at one place, and I can easily disable and monitor the API usage of the product.

Something like this is quite handy if you are just starting the SaaS and want to ship your product fast in the market to test without any delays.

MUI Store: A great place to find Next JS/React JS templates for starting For all of my SaaS, I take the templates mostly from MUI Store, and after it’s done and published in the market, I then use Claude or GPT to customize the design of it. See I am not a good designer, but we should not forget your SaaS frontend is the only thing that your client will see and can judge you on it. So better to take such templates rather than doing by yourself.

Startup Programs: A great way to boost your SaaS business, with some credits you can spend I would prefer that you take part in such programs where you will get some initial credits to spend. This will remove the worry of spending too much or getting unexpected bills for your servers that you are using. Most of the cloud services like AWS, Azure, and GCP have such programs running, you just need to enroll in them.

N8N hosted on Render for Free Automation If you want to do any kind of automation like sending emails, or finding leads all with no cost, you can use the N8N and Render. This is free, and you don’t have to pay anything online Make.com, or Zapier.

Cloudflare: For managing the DNS and, most importantly, protection from attacks If you are not using Cloudflare, I highly recommend you to use it, as it not only makes managing the DNS easy and provides proxies. They have a lot of other useful services like serverless backend, protection from attacks to your site, blocking, and rerouting. Even if you have a SaaS that has some sort of DNS management, you can use Cloudflare infrastructure to do so.

Cloudzero: Take care of the cost of your Cloud servers If you want to get a clear picture of the spending of your SaaS, as we know, it’s a little challenging to deal with all these cloud services, and we get an unexpected bill by month end. This software will give you a clear picture in the form of tables, all hidden costs will be shown so you don’t spend money at wrong places.

There are other modules also, like Auth, which you can use Firebase, Clerk, or FusionAuth for managing your users. Let me know if you feel I missed any software in the comments, I would love to check them out.

Also, if you want to learn about how to market your SaaS product and want some insights into different strategies and marketing channels, then you might like my second book, “Marketing Strategies to Grow Your SaaS”. This book will help you get your SaaS in the market and get real users for it.
